Great house for large family

5 of 5
We had a terrific time at this house! We were a pretty large group (3 couples, plus two toddlers). We especially liked that there were three bedrooms and bathrooms for the adults, plus two separate places for our kids to sleep (we put one in a crib in the kids room - which has 3 twin beds for older kids - and the other in the downstairs den). The kitchen was well equipped and I liked that there was room for all 8 of us to sit at the dining table. Plenty of towels were provided and the bed linens were soft and comfy. The two decks were wonderful, with lots of seating. And of course it was great to be right on the beach! Location was good, just a few minutes from some restaurants and a grocery store.

Beaufort Cottage

5 of 5
We stayed at the Lighthouse Cottage for the second time this past weekend and had another amazing visit. The cottage is in a perfect location for everything there is to see and do in Beaufort. We visited New Bern, NC on our way down, Moorehead City that first evening and then spent the next three days relaxing on the beaches. We took water ferries three different times, shopped the Front Street stores and ate fantastic food every night. The cottage was directly across from the Farmer's Market where we started our holiday shopping with jams, home made laundry detergent, salsa's and chutney's. This cottage is a great value, is super clean and offers everything you will need for a home base as you discover the Crystal Coast:) Deborah is awesome to work with when making reservations and if you accidentally lock yourself out:(

This cottage is beautiful and secluded!

5 of 5
What a place! Lots of history and beautiful energy in this secluded cottage! We even rode at a category 2 hurricane! The owner and neighbors were all super friendly and our dog loved it. We hope to stay again next year and cable TV would be the only thing missing from a perfect week. The cottage is very well suited for cooking and relaxing. The drive to Beaufort and Atlantic beach is easy and there is a great small grocery nearby. Oh! And a grassfed beef farm next door!
