SOOOOOO peaceful.

5 of 5
As a pastor who just started at a busy church 7 weeks before, I NEEDED some R&R. 3 days at this little A-Frame was the perfect spot! The house was extremely well cleaned (from a picky reviewer!) and well laid out. Space is at a premium in this little A-frame and the owners have done a great job making it feel cozy but not cramped! It took me no time at all to feel perfectly at home for my short stay (wish it could have been longer). I wish I could give you some ratings on local sights or adventures, but other than going to Castle Ladyhawke to perform a wedding on Saturday, I stayed in. I worked a puzzle, watched old movies, and soaked in the hot tub and slept in the loft bed at night. I don't get many opportunities for such getaways by myself, but would love to come stay here again. Thanks for sharing your home!

What A Great Cabin!!

5 of 5
What a fantastic place to stay and enjoy the great outdoors! The cabin was wonderful and the location and scenery were absolutely beautiful. We were fortunate to have 4 days of perfect weather for rafting, zip-lining, and horseback riding during the week. The NOC is a great activity center with so many things to do - or just to sit and enjoy the river. It was our first trip to the Smoky Mountains and we are definitely looking forward to a return visit!

Serendipity

5 of 5
If you are looking for a cozy mountain retreat, this is the place for you! I couldn't have asked for a better place to reunite with my three daughters (all in college). I woke up early to the sound of the waterfall below, enjoyed a cup of coffee on the back porch, then yoga on one of the mats downstairs. The girls and I spent our days hiking or shopping in Asheville. We even had picnics. We cooked beautiful meals almost every night. Always using fresh vegetables from the organic farm next door. My daughters' sampled every craft beer made right here in the mountains! We had dinner in Waynesville (Sweet Onion) and dinner outside in Sylva several times (Lulu's) their fried green tomatoes are to die for. We sat by the fire for hours laughing and catching up. (this was July!!) Life gets so hectic and crazy, this beautiful little place made us all slow down and enjoy life without all the interruptions. The owner of this property is a lovely soul. He couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. Looking forward to fall in the Treehouse!!
