Exceptional!!

5 of 5
This was our first visit to High Rock rentals and we are quite impressed. The location is perfect. You feel so secluded (which is what we wanted) but, are close to all amenities you could ask for. Plus, it is close to Asheville and the Chimney Rock area. The view and the land is amazing. The hiking trails are also such a nice added touch. The owners did a great job creating this relaxing environment. Mike Roseman was very accommodating and easy to work with. We will definitely be back. I would recommend this cabin and any other cabins at High Rock Rentals.

This property is awesome; such a treasure.

This property is everything it is represented to be and so much more. We arrived from Florida, Ohio, DC, Chapel Hill and Germany to a warm and inviting Lodge. The HunniHome Lodge is equipped with everything you can think of to enjoy time in the mountains with family and friends. Whether it was enjoying a hot cup of coffee rocking on the back porch overlooking the mountains or sitting comfortably in front of the warm fireplace, this was a great setting to ring in the New Year. It is especially nice to have such easy access to local attractions like Asheville, NC (microbrew capital of the East) and Black Mountain where the people are so friendly. We were able to enjoy plenty of nice hiking including just walking the roads within the Preserve after dark. We saw deer and turkey and despite keeping an open eye, did not come across any bears. The accommodations were really nice for our group of 9 adults. There is plenty of flexibility for sleeping in the upstairs game room or by taking the twin mattresses into the cinema room. Every room is comfortably decorated leaving guests with a real feel for the mountains. The house is well supplied with puzzles, games and books if all you want to do is kick back and relax. The Lodge owners were so responsive to our needs. Always available to answer questions and make sure that our stay in their home was comfortable. We were fortunate to be able to spend a week in their home and to ring in the New Year in such a beautiful and relaxing setting. Thank you for sharing your little piece of serenity. Amazing

5 of 5
This is the first Christmas in my life I spent away from my family. My husband and I did an extensive search for the perfect place for us to get away with our two dogs for the holiday. Needless to say, we were not disappointed! This cabin is simply perfect. We spent most of our week stay at the cabin. We did go explore a little bit - to Lake Lure, Chimney Rock, and Bat Cave - but for the most part, never wanted to leave the property. It is absolutely beautiful. We were extremely impressed with the quality and cleanliness of everything. The furniture was extremely comfortable, the hot tub was so relaxing, and absence of city "noise" and lights made this trip perfect. We cooked all our meals there, and were not lacking anything. My most favorite thing was the 10 foot (at least) tall fresh cut Christmas tree! We did not put one up for the first time in our 19 years of marriage, so I did shed a few tears when we pulled up to the cabin for the first time and I saw the lights from inside the house. Our dogs loved the property. They had so much fun running around exploring, and playing in the creek. I am especially thankful to Mike for having a pet-friendly place! I will recommend this property to anyone I know looking for a cabin getaway. We cannot wait to book our next stay!
