Perfect place in the mountains!

5 of 5
My wife and I were visiting from Alabama, and stayed in the Alpine Ski Loft for three days while we did some hiking around the Beech/Boone/Blue Ridge Parkway area. We are not skiers (for those who are, the loft is literally just a few feet from one of the ski runs) but chose it for its location on the mountain. This place was very comfortable and was exactly what we were looking for. Nice kitchen with plenty of cooking equipment, cozy wood pellet fireplace that kept the living room warm, comfortable bedrooms. The owner was very communicative and helpful, and provided good instructions and lots of detail on every aspect of our trip. We would certainly stay here again!

Fall getaway

4 of 5
My husband and I spent a week in the fall. Our time in the cabin was wonderful. Very comfortable and cozy. Jeff was great, we were running low on paper goods and he had some sent over the next day. We never used the firelace but did use the wall heaters which kept us warm and toasty in the night and early morning when the temps would drop. The only disappointment we had was the mountain view was obstucted by the trees. I guess when the leaves start to fall the view would be beautiful. But we did enjoy the colors of the leaves changing. We would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting privacy and quietness.

Oustanding Newer Cabin With An Experienced And Considerate Owner. You Won't Be Disappointed!

5 of 5
I rented the cabin for a weekend ski trip to Beech Mountain. Although the weather didn't cooperate the entire weekend we were able to find plenty of other things to do, even in January. There was hiking and spelunking within a 20 minute drive, Boone is only 10 minutes away and Beech Mountain is also only 20 minutes away. Doesn't get much more central than that. And what could be better to come back to than a nice, toasty hot tub outside on the deck. The interior is very spacious and we could have had 3 times as many people sitting on all the couches alone and still had room for plenty more. The kitchen was fully stocked with tools, utensils and even donations of spices left by previous renters. We cooked breakfast and dinner each night (once using the gas grill on the deck) and had everything we needed. The dining table easily sits 10. There was plenty of towels, extra blankets and even roll-away beds in some of the closets if you need to stretch the sleeping arrangements further. In my opinion, if you counted bedrooms, roll-aways and couches, you could technically sleep 20 in this cabin. Since we didn't ski we didn't need to use the washer but the dryer worked great to dry hot tub towels! The water was hot even with two showers going and kept good pressure. We originally had a group of 6 adults that ended up being reduced to 4 unexpectedly. Benny took pity on us and reduced our rate. He didn't have to do that and we really appreciated it. I will rent this cabin again next year for our ski trip and won't even bother checking the weather.
