Lovely!

5 of 5
Our family loved this mountain home! The house is nice, the details are impressive, the porches are private and the views from the one porch is outstanding. We like to cook, we found a respectable stocked kitchen with tools you need to cook up a good meal. The grill was good for cooking steaks and salmon, but don't try the side burner, unless you want to simmer something. Our grandchildren are 8, and 13 years old, the loft was perfect for them, it's very spacious and stocked with board games, etc. They had their privacy which seemed to make them happy, and also all their gear could be there, out of the way of the day in day out activities. We get to the property and pretty much stay, as area restaurants are not that good. However we did a road trip to Asheville on Monday and visited the Biltmore House which was fabulous, and only about an hours drive. This house is one of our favorites, even the kitchen is stocked with staples.

Bellissima!

5 of 5
As a sometimes travel writer, I've covered countless miles over the past two decades, and Little Bird Cabin is unquestionably among the most memorable places in which I've stayed. Whether you're seeking solitude, romance, or rejuvenating time with your family, you're likely to find what you're seeking in this lovely, well-cared for cabin alongside Soapstone Creek. Mary and Alli's thoughtful touches and artistic sensibilities grace the clean and cozy cabin. And though checking to see that you've all that you need, their graciousness and the cabin's setting provide privacy too. My husband (then-boyfriend) and I awakened to spectacular views of mist rising over blue mountains, and we were lulled to sleep by the creek's gentle murmur. We're hoping to return someday to Little Bird Cabin, and in the meantime are sustained -- in more ways than can herein be described -- by memories of its magic and unparalleled sense of place. Bellissima. Simply bellissima!

Just Super!

5 of 5
We spent three marvelous nights at Birdtown. The guesthouse is very well cared for, well equiped and beautifully clean. It is decorated and furnished very tastefully with quality fittings. Extremely comfortable bed with down pillows and cotton linens, plenty of fluffy bath towels. The location is extremely peaceful set in lovely grounds and our hosts Mary and Alli were delightful, friendly and fun. We loved everything about it. A real highlight of our North Carolina touring holiday I would not hesitate to recommend this property. Thank you, Helena and Haydn (UK)
