Couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Loved it. This is a peaceful and happy getaway. Great for a couple or small family. The house was very clean and comfortable with great light coming in the windows all day. At night after a soak in the hot tub, we fell asleep to a soft rain on the roof. The location was convenient to the BR PKWay, hiking, dog park, mall, grocery, take out and minutes to downtown. Dogs were ecstatic about the wrap around porch and fenced in yard. Recommend chop shop for steak and pig ears! We will definitely return.

Location, location, location

5 of 5
First off let me say this is a beautiful home in a secluded area yet literally just a few miles from downtown Asheville. From the moment we walked in everyone loved the cabin and the mountain views were an added bonus. Individual sleeping rooms on their own floors were great and the futon / bed was perfect for the kids. We ate out basically every meal so not having a microwave wasn't an issue for us however the only suggestion would be to maybe install coat hooks on the wall opposite the breakfast bar so guests have a place to hang their coats throughout the seasons. I for one was amazed at the wi-fi speed up there in the mountains, it blows away what we have available at home in the "big city". After tubing in Maggie Valley, a day at the Builtmore and other area attractions this is a great place to come home to and relax for the night and we'll recommend to anyone we know traveling to the area in the future.

Great Cabin! So Many Amenities! Perfect Location!

5 of 5
Stoney Creek Cabin was the perfect place for our family vacation! I've never been more comfortable in a vacation rental, and we've stayed in many. The cabin was exactly as described, immaculate, and stocked with absolutely everything you need and then some! Stephanie went out of her way to make sure that everything was perfect and even had the cabin beautifully decorated for Christmas. We loved everything about Stoney Creek Cabin, from the massage chair and fireplace to the hot tub and playground. I highly recommend this vacation rental for those traveling with kids. There are toys galore (plus the aforementioned playground) for older kids, plus everything you might need if you're traveling with a baby (crib, stroller, etc.). We had never been to the area, so we didn't really know whether the location would be good. It turned out to be ideal. It's just a short five-minute drive to downtown Hendersonville and also a short drive to I-26, which quickly takes you to Biltmore, Asheville, etc. I know that Asheville is the main draw for many, but we adored Hendersonville's shops and restaurants (be sure to try Never Blue). I highly recommend Stoney Creek Cabin!
