                            Marvelous and quirky-fabulous!

We absolutely adored our time in this wonderful apartment during our visit to Asheville last weekend. Melanie was thoughtful, helpful, and resourceful, providing us with all of the amenities we could have hoped for. Her home is lovely, private, and very comfortable. It is amazing that such a private and wooded lot can be found so close to everything that one would want to see in the city. Her artful taste in decor and her vision in the creation of this space really made it an inspiring place for our time away. It would be hard for pictures to do this place justice. We will be returning and we have already recommended this apartment to our friends and colleagues. Thanks again, Melanie, for making this such a wonderful space away from home!

Convenient, clean, and friendly place in West Asheville

                            5 of 5
My wife, friend, and I (and two dogs) stayed over the 4th and found the place sufficient for our needs. It's a basement apartment in a larger house with a shared yard, right in the heart of west Asheville (walking distance to Sunrise Cafe and Biscuit Head). Carson (the manager/host/resident) was pleasant and accommodating.

                            Beautiful Place to Stay--Great Location

                            5 of 5
This was a wonderful place to stay for our trip to Asheville. We love Craftsman architecture, and were delighted at the great attention to craftsman detail and design. Really nice. The location was perfect too. Kenilworth is a beautiful, quiet neighborhood full of gorgeous old craftsman homes/mansions, but it is just down the hill to the Biltmore Estate and downtown Asheville, where most of our weekend was spent. The owners, who live next door, are fun people with great ideas for restaurants and things to do. Tupelo Honey is a great place to eat that they told us about. They had a complimentary bottle of wine waiting on us when we arrived, which we enjoyed on the deck of the cottage, which is particularly lovely. It has vines with blooming roses growing along the rail of the deck with little lights interspersed, which makes it look and smell wonderful at night. This was a great place to stay, and we can’t wait to go back!
