Perfect spot for New Years

5 of 5
We had the BEST time in Asheville and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Bernie was a great host. In fact, we originally planned this trip for the weekend after Thanksgiving and had to reschedule and Bernie worked with us to change our reservation dates without any hassle. The loft is in the perfect location, just up from the Orange Peel and Green Man Brewery. We walked everywhere and only got in our car once to visit the Biltmore. My husband and I are already planning to visit Asheville again and wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else.

Fantastic Family Gathering

5 of 5
Our group maxed out the bed space in the house, but it was still so much space and so fun to all be together in one place. The house is well stocked and comfortable and the hosts are very helpful and accommodating. We look forward to our next group 'retreat' and will be sure to remember this house and the host's hospitality.

a dream vacation

5 of 5
When I arrived with my family the house was even more beautiful than the pictures. The inside was spotlessly clean and has a very cozy and cabin like theme. The beds were beyond comfortable, way more than any hotel or even other vacation rental property I've stayed in. They allowed for a very restful sleep. The kitchen was fully stocked, which made it easy and fun to cook a couple meals there to save some money. The location was fabulous, just far enough outside town to be away from the city lights and noise but close enough to get anywhere you needed to go within ten minutes. It was easy to find too. The entrance road was not steep and easy to access, even in the couple inches of snow and ice. Overall I would definitely recommend this house to others, my friends and family. And I will definitely stay here again. Make sure to dine at the Lobster Trap when in town, it is an amazing place for an intimate dinner in a semi casual\comfortable environment. The Dripolater coffee shop and Dobra tea house are a must go, as well as the French broad chocolate lounge. The hiking trails at warren Wilson college are also extensive and amazing and only a short 5 minute drive from the house. It was perfect for our dogs. I was very pleased. We didn't get in the hot tub or use the fire pit because of the frigid temperture but I would love to come back in the spring or summer to enjoy those.
