My wife and I were in Asheville for a long weekend. This was a great place to stay. It is a new property at the end of a quiet street with a beautiful view for about the same cost as a hotel. The TV had satellite and there is WiFi internet. We fixed most of our meals while there and the kitchen had everything you needed including a dishwasher. A laundry room is available if needed. There is a nice deck with chairs and a grill. We were able to relax and enjoy the view and the king bed was very comfortable. There is a 1/2 a bath downstairs and a full one upstairs. We visited the Biltmore House, downtown Asheville, and the farmers market. All were easy to access - probably about 10 minutes to each. We also drove parts of the nearby Blue Ridge Parkway. Our host made sure we had what we needed by email, which worked great for us. We have stayed in several VRBO rentals over the last few years. This is one of the nicest. I would recommend this property and a trip to Asheville to others and would stay here again.

Duplex on a steep hill

4 of 5
Pros: Very clean and well maintained. Bedrooms were very spacious and the master was great; including the master bath! The screened porch was nice too! The guys at the entrance gate were friendly and helpful. Cons: VERY steep grade up to the house; 15 to 20% approx grade. NO driveway; ONLY parking was in the garage and our Ford Flex barely fit. NO room for two cars. Also, this is a duplex, not a single family dwelling. NO yard was a disappointment; the path down the side of the house to the back was blocked off with a rope and sign. This is not a location for a family with children or tweens. Would I stay here again, probably not.
