Wonderful cottage!

5 of 5
We stayed at this wonderful cottage for 4 nights and had a great time. It is close to all the attractions of Asheville, yet is quiet and tucked away in a beautiful garden. The cottage is extremely clean and very well appointed with no detail overlooked. The owners are fantastic! We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to a couple looking for quiet time close to the action.

Heavenly Place to Rest and Play

5 of 5
My family of 4 (kids 10 and 18) spent 4 days at Stone Cottage this summer. It is one of the best places we have stayed and we are a traveling family. The accommodations were beyond expectations! The cottage is absolutely beautiful inside and out and all you need to pack are your clothes and a few groceries... everything else is available just like a home. Spring Creek is right off the deck and it is an incredible view. The sound of the creek is nice while sleeping. And my son and husband spent hours playing and swimming there. The hot tub on the deck is very large and NICE! We hope to visit this place again soon. Karen and Pete (the owners) were great to deal with for reservations and throughout our stay. They live next door to the cottage but it is not an inconvenience at all. Hot Springs is a short walk from the cottage and you can enjoy hiking, shopping and restaurants. We never got in our cars again until it was time to leave. I would highly recommend this property to friends and relatives.

Delightful in Every Way!

5 of 5
The Creekside Cottage at Laughing Waters was the perfect peaceful getaway we were looking for. The cottage and grounds were just as described. We spent mornings drinking coffee on the deck listening to the creek roll through the rocks. Afternoons we hiked the private trails and explored the community gardens and orchard. We were delighted to learn that the lodge and cottage are powered by the hydro electric energy generated by the creek! An easy drive into Asheville for dinner or shopping and we were back in time to watch the fireflies come out. We had expected to explore some of the areas other attractions but found we didn't want to leave the property. Although part of a larger community the cottage was cozy and private. The owners were kind and accommodating to help us correct a booking error we made as guests. We will most certainly return.
