Awesome cabin!

5 of 5
This cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway! The place was spacious and clean and convenient to get around town. The owners were great and greeted us with homemade muffins. We will definitely stay here again!

Truly amazing views

5 of 5
The pictures do not do this cabin justice; the views are just incredible! The cabin is clean and very quiet, and we had no other needs or requests. Thank you for opening your home to us so that we could have this experience. Note to travelers: we are very glad that we drove an SUV and that there was no snow or slick rain – otherwise, we are afraid that we may not have made it up the mountain.

Location, location, location

First off let me say this is a beautiful home in a secluded area yet literally just a few miles from downtown Asheville. From the moment we walked in everyone loved the cabin and the mountain views were an added bonus. Individual sleeping rooms on their own floors were great and the futon / bed was perfect for the kids. We ate out basically every meal so not having a microwave wasn't an issue for us however the only suggestion would be to maybe install coat hooks on the wall opposite the breakfast bar so guests have a place to hang their coats throughout the seasons. I for one was amazed at the wi-fi speed up there in the mountains, it blows away what we have available at home in the "big city". After tubing in Maggie Valley, a day at the Builtmore and other area attractions this is a great place to come home to and relax for the night and we'll recommend to anyone we know traveling to the area in the future.
