Best Weekend Ever

5 of 5
This place is amazing! The location is absolutely perfect. You are close to Asheville, Dupont State Forest, or Pisgah National Forest. The bungalows themselves are very secluded and so peaceful. The pictures do not do it justice. There are so many little hidden touches. There was another couple staying in the other bungalow and it was not like they were even there. We did chat with them but you definitely still have your privacy if you want it. Grace, the owner, was so easy to work with and extremely helpful. The cabin has basically anything you could need but yourself. We will definitely be back and will be spreading the word to our friends.

Wonderful stay!

5 of 5
You will NOT be disappointed with this property. It is EXCELLENT in all respects. It is well supplied and cared for. The Nook is really home away from home. Paul the owner is fabulous and very accommodating. Jan, who manages these properties, is very accessible and answered all my questions promptly. The location was also very peaceful and quiet with fresh mountain air. If anyone is looking for a stress free getaway from the hectic and busy city life then I highly recommend this place. My only regret was that I couldn't stay longer. I traveled in February of 2014 and had quite a snowstorm come through! My Bichon Frise loved trying to catch the large snowflakes and rolled in the white snow. I will keep this place at the top of my list for future stays. Thank you Paul and Jan for being so gracious..

A charming getaway!

5 of 5
The cottage was really charming! It is tucked away up on a hill, but actually very easy to access from main roads, so it was a great base of operations to do a lot in the greater Asheville and Hendersonville area. The owner clearly takes wonderful care to provide a wealth of information and very clear instructions for enjoying the property. The cottage is very whimsical - an artistic touch is applied all throughout the property, and the surroundings are very calm and soothing. The owner was very responsive in all communications. The property is extremely clean and well-stocked with all the supplies one might need. We absolutely recommend it for the independent traveler, couple, or small family who appreciates a lovely space surrounded by peaceful woods. Moonbeam bungalow is and clearly built by, and maintained with, care and attention to detail.
