Lake Lure

5 of 5
What a great cabin! We took a quick family trip to Lake Lure from different points all around to meet in Lake Lure. The cabin is large, spacious and very clean. Our group of 10 had plenty of room and plenty of parking. We were close to great hiking spots and local restaurants and skiing was not too far away. Enjoyed this cabin and will plan a return trip.

Wow, what a fun place to stay:-)

Three nights spent totally relaxing... moving from the jet bathtub, to the massage chair, to the jacuzzi. Repeat. Oh, and add a glass of wine in the evening, of course! Lovely establishment, with perfect amenities. Your own private oasis, fenced in nicely. Oh, and a gas fireplace to boot. Every single item you will use has excellent instructions to accompany it. That makes it so easy. I hate driving, and the great thing about this cabin is its close proximity to Brevard, Asheville, Mt. Pisqua, and Hendersonville. Excellent Mexican restaurant close by (Marguarita.. something or other, and downtown Hendersonville on lst Street, was a Fire Roasted Pizza place that we ate at twice, b/c it was fabulous. Our two dogs went with us to the cabin, as they are excellent travel companions, and they were totally at ease and happy there. Thanks for providing such a wonderful environment for a anniversary trip.

Family had a blast!

5 of 5
This was our first time vacationing in a cabin and it turned out to be the best vacation yet. The cabin is in a nice remote area, but not too remote where you have to drive more than 15 minutes to a grocery store. At nighttime the moon and stars light up the sky with a beautiful view. If you're looking to do some hiking, you're in luck. You'll be in walking distance (10-15 minutes) to a beach with a pavilion. Right next to the beach is a little nature walk area, which is a fun place to bring your dogs if you have any... Needless to say, we had a really good time and wouldn't hesitate to have another vacation here in the future.
