One of the best rentals we have ever stayed in!

5 of 5
This is one of the best rentals we have ever stayed in. The location was just perfect for us. We parked our car when we arrived and never moved it! Everything downtown is very walkable and even other neighborhoods are within walking distance (RiverArts/West Asheville). The property is very clean and kept up very well. Bernie was a pleasure to work with and we loved the recommendations they left!

Beautiful condo in downtown Hendersonville.

4 of 5
The Crystal Palace is within walking distance to beautiful historic downtown Hendersonville. We play bridge and the very active Hendersonville Bridge Club is a short block away on level ground. The ABC store is in the next block and two large well-stocked supermarkets are within a minute's drive away. The condo is located on the second and third floors of the building with the hot tub accessed from the back bedroom on the third floor. Inside the secured building is an elevator from the garage to the second floor. Once inside the living area there is an eighteen-step carpeted stairway that leads to the beautifully-appointed sleeping area on the third floor. The hot tub worked perfectly and was one of the highlights of our stay. When we were there it was quite chilly in the evening, so dipping into a 102-degree hot tub before climbing into bed was very enjoyable. The beds were luxurious, the rooms dark and we heard no outside traffic which made sleeping wonderful. The bathrooms were elegantly furnished, the kitchen stocked with every possible utensil. Internet access was available and fast. The property was clean as could be when we arrived and obviously well-maintained. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. We were a little disappointed with the Theater Room in that the television did not have digital service and the station selection was limited. An adjustment to the sound system also needs to be done. The chairs in the room were very comfortable. We didn't have a chance to test the movie screen; all-in-all a very compact and well-designed Theater Room. We would definitely recommend this condo for your stay in the Hendersonville area.

Love Hendersonville

4 of 5
While we had some issues when we arrived, the rental company took quick care of it. I knocked a star off because of the noise level. They are doing construction to update the offices below and for a while it was 24/7. The HOA has voted to restrict the construction to daytime hours. We hope this takes care of the issue of construction. You can easily hear anyone in the hallway, the elevator bell, the trash shoot and other varied noises. We also found that you can be heard inside of the condo as well. From talking on the phone to just making dinner, anyone passing by can hear everything you say. We hope the owner will take some care to sound proof the place a bit. There were plenty of towels, sheets and blankets. a basic washer/dryer to help you keep up. The water pressure is lacking, but I am not sure that can be remedied. Basic cable, basic internet. You cant stream a movie, but its more than enough to keep up to email, and social media sites. Several restaurants in the area will deliver, but whats the fun in that? Downtown offers a nice variety of places to eat, drink and be merry. A basic kitchen with coffee maker and toaster are helpful if you want to eat in. an organic grocery right next door offers gluten free choices as well as organic. We cannot say enough about the downtown area. From amazing foliage to quick access to the blue ridge parkway, plays, movies, and shopping are within walking distance. Friendly neighbors and well maintained building. Many units rent, so there is a constant change in who you see. The building is secure. You need a key to gain entry thru any access point. You wont find folks wandering the halls unless they are meant to be there. Its a cute condo with a DVD player, board games, plenty to read, or many great things to see and do at your door. The old courthouse offers a great tour thru history. From farmers markets to apple festivals we never lacked for something to do. We love the area so much we decided to buy a home here. Take a walk, visit the local shops. We hope you too will fall in love with Hendersonville.
