Better than staying with family!

5 of 5
We have stayed at a fair number of vacation rental homes. However, Dick and Diane were by far the most gracious hosts we have ever had. They called us prior to arrival with excellent suggestions about things to do; places to eat etc. - When were arriving late, and our hosts had fresh fruit, breakfast items, even milk, coffee and OJ there to get us started! The home is tremendous, and the pictures really don't do it justice. The pool is the draw...and it lives up to every expectation. Perfect Temperature and no chlorine smell! There are HD TV's in virtually every room...and the area is so quiet....perfect to hang outside at the end of the day around the fire pit. Ashville is a fun, quirky city with a great personality....that is made all the better by spending your time at this wonderful artsy home.

Great for Any Size Group

5 of 5
We had a group of fathers and young daughters - maybe 36 of us. We absolutely plan to come back, and we feel certain that as many people hear the tales of awesome fun at The Camp will come. If your group involved anybody willing to camp under the stars (or in the gym) - there'd be almost no limit to how many people could enjoy the camp at once. We didn't even occupy the bunk house, but plan to next time! The Camp was self-contained outdoorsy fun. We spent all-day every day on the water slide and in the pool. We used the cool old gym for basketball and dodgeball games. The mess hall is huge, with enough area for 30 people to eat, some more to play the arcade games, and even more to hang out in comfortable chairs. We had the commercial kitchen of the mess hall, and the individual kitchens and refrigerators o the Eagle's Nest and the Cottage at our disposal. Like I said - we're all looking forward to September 2015 and introducing even more folks to The Camp Experience.
