Surrounded by Beauty with TONS of Character!

5 of 5
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful cabin with unique artwork and a ton of charm! The property was serene with a trickling creek out back and a trail that led to a fire pit in the woods. The cabin was very cozy and made for the perfect retreat after a day spent hiking or exploring downtown Asheville. I can't imagine a better place to enjoy nature and some peace and quiet. Highly recommended!

Better than expected

5 of 5
We had the best time at this property. There was more than enough space for our family. There was seven adults and 4 children. Having three levels allowed everyone to have their own space. My favorite part was being able to sit the entire family down for dinner and the wrap around porch. I will most definitely be returning.

Spring break

4 of 5
The cabin was amazing, it is a little tricky to get there as you climb the hills. The views from our cabin was breathtaking and very pretty. Overall the cabin was comfortable, the master bedroom bed was a little hard, the pillows were a little worn down. The view from the master was pretty. The cabin got a tad bit warm so we decided to turn the ciling fan on in the livingroom, but immediately turned it off as it was caked with dust we were worried that the dust chunks would have fallen off onto our food, there were cobwebs in the corner where the windows were. The AC unit upstairs in the master bedroom filter was clogged so we cleaned that up. Just a little tightly up would have been good. The kitchen was ok, the knives were very dull, the salt shaker was empty, there was no basic items such as sugar, flour, and salt. There was a fire place, the owner left wood but the wood wasn't completely dry so we had a heck of a time trying to start the fire. When we got it started finally it was nice and cozy. If you are planning to come and stay and want to make all of your food there, I'd suggest you stop at the store before heading up to the cabin. We had a hard time trying to find a decent grocery store in the area too. We visited DuPont state forest while we were there, breathtaking views of waterfalls and the seanionery was pretty. We visited the town of Hendersonville and stopped at McFarland bakery as we were celebrating our daughters 6th birthday and picked up a cake. The town was a nice town with little shops here and there, but they seemed to close a little early especially for a Friday night. Overall our stay at the cabin was amazing, all we could talk about is wanting a cabin and coming back to this area. The cabin had plenty of room for all of us.
