Gateway to Asheville - on foot!

5 of 5
We couldn't have been happier with a place to stay. Beautiful loft, nice furnishings, comfy bed, fluffy towels... Detailed and very helpful instructions from Bernie and Sandy... Right in the heart of all the action and next to the double decker coffee bus and across the street from a wonderful bakery for breakfast... Food co-op a block down the street... As one person on the street said as we were coming downstairs "I wish I could live there!"

Wonderful condo in gorgeous setting

5 of 5
Our entire experience from start to finish was ideal. The communication with the owner (Dave) was so kind, helpful, quick and thoughtful it made the whole experience that much more relaxing. The condo is very spacious with two master suites on either side of the large living room so when we had my folks visit for a few days over the month we stayed, it was a perfect layout for privacy! We spent so much of our time out on the huge screened in deck enjoying the view, watching birds, storms rolling through, fire flies/ lightning bugs truly a magical place! We enjoyed a few rounds of golf there, the course is a beautiful setting and it's both challenging and fun and an extra treat that it is very conveniently located to the clubhouse. The condo is very clean, wonderfully equipped kitchen, comfortable furniture, we were very pleased with the quality of the mattresses especially since we were staying a month. We can't say enough about our stay. We loved the area and the people so much that we have relocated here and will be sure to recommend this wonderful vacation rental to family and friends.

Broadway loft

4 of 5
Staying in loft was so much better than a hotel room. First of all, the loft is HUGE compared to any hotel room I've stayed in. It was just the two of us, so we didn't need the extra bed, but the extra space made it feel more like a home. The old wooden floors gave the room a lot of character. The amenities were great, big TV, DVD player, and wifi. We didn't use the kitchen much, other than to brew some coffee, but it was well stocked enough to make a meal, if you would want to. We didn't because it was fun to eat out. The location has great access to everything downtown. Broadway is one of the main thoroughfares in the downtown area, so it was a short walk to all the restaurants, museums, and shopping. The only thing to be aware of is that because the loft is on a main road downtown, there is some street noise from traffic and people outside. We turned the fan on at night and drowned out most of the noise. I would definitely stay here again if I were visiting downtown Asheville.
