Keani and the Hitchhikers

5 of 5
Who: a couple of neophites dressed in traditional Slavic garb What: a journey to sugartities new York for a once in a lifetime constellational dance between planets. Where: Uncle Tom's Cabin Why: Gain an understanding and fondness of the TLC match. Long story short, On a chilly september morning , I had a colonoscapy. While I was under, I experienced a life changing revelation; I needed to bring together a few of my swinger friends to join me for an amazing new year celebration. After some brief research, I chose uncle toms cabin. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a horse who introduced himself as Huy B.D. I was told that the house was located on top of a muddy trail. Huy B.D let us in the house and we got comfortable. The first thing I noticed was the beautifully furnished TV stand. Now I had visited many rentals before but none had a TV stand like this one. Made out of pure mohagany and laminated maple, Tom really spoiled us with this one. The fridge was stocked with a plethora of fruit loops as well as the beds and the bathrooms. Never have I been showered with this amount of luxury. I now expect fruit loops at every rental I visit. Uncle Tom pulled out all the stops so take notes renters!! Now the hot tub ...the moment everyone has been waiting for. All I can say is it is fantastic. It gets really hot and the water breathes very heavily . You can sometimes hear the water breathing through the entire house. Its loud but very conforting. Now as if I didn't sell this place enough, I have a story to tell. On our second night , we all settled in to watch a documentary about basket weaving. It was a touching tale that pulled at the heartbeat of america. During the viewing, I heared a strange sound from behind the TV. My friends and I investigated. We took a peak behind the TV and wear shocked to find a man named kiani crying there. Kiani is a parapalegic man... Lost his body In the trail of tears. He gets transported by a turtle on occasion but he had a troubled past. We all became very close with kiani and brought him home with us. Uncle Tom brought us together and for that I am eternally greatful. All in all, I could not ask for a more pleasing stay. I learned more about myself at Uncle Toms Cabin in 3 days than in my entire adult life. I apologize about the dishes and garbage and hope that my harrowing tale makes up for it. Love, B.O.B

Exceeds Expectations

5 of 5
The pictures and description are accurate, but the house totally exceeds expectations! Its charming, well designed and well equipped. We had an absolutely amazing weekend and would definitely rent from Blaze again. The house is small and cosy, and just perfect for the 4 of us- though I would say any more than 4 adults and it would be a tight squeeze. The fact that the house is within a mile of gas, grocery and wine stores was also a major plus.

Great, clean & close to town!

5 of 5
The cabin is beautiful. The bamboo floors are clean and the decor is well thought out. We took our two children (ages 5 & 4) and they loved it as well. We even baked chocolate chip cookies one night. The days we went were super cold yet the cabin remained comfy and warm. We were close to town and visted shops at Woodstock each day. Overall, it was great! We appreciated the free wifi, DVD player for family movies and all the details that are taken care of by the owners.
