My guests and I had the most amazing time in Woodstock this weekend. The house was as we imagined, an open floor that allowed us to cook, socialize and enjoy one another's company while still having many tucked away places on the property to get away and read a book, or just go for a walk and enjoy nature.
We showed up a little early and housekeeping let us unpack and get settled, they were friendly, helpful and did a great job and even provided us with some extras that we weren't expecting.
Sweet Sue's is a great breakfast location just a couple miles from the house and at night we enjoyed dessert at the Bear Cafe. It was all that we expected and more.
If you have the stomach for adventure try Hunter Mountain Zip lines. I watched while our guests enjoyed the adventure. There are many activities for non-daredevils like myself as well.
I can't rave enough about our outing, the town and the lovely time we had at the house.
Until we come again...
