A Bit of Heaven

5 of 5
The owners (Mike & Mini) have provided a warm, peaceful and beautifully-equipped chalet with their customers in mind. They have thought of everything you might need to have a carefree time away from the world. The chalet is decorated beautifully and it is nestled in a place of beauty where the views of the high peaks are all around. By far, this is the best vacation home we have ever experienced. Thank you to Mike and Mini for their consideration and thoughtfulness!!

Cozy, clean ski chalet

5 of 5
This was the perfect place to stay for skiing at Whiteface. The open floor plan made it a pleasure to have friends over for dinner, with the dining area, kitchen and living room on the first level. The wood burning stove created so much heat, it was plenty warm without turning on the heat upstairs. The four bedrooms downstairs had comfortable beds, clean sheets and hardwood floors that ensure a good night's sleep even for those with allergies. We had dinner in Lake Placid one night, about 15 min. drive...the downtown area is adorable and charming. We would not stay anywhere else, if we return to the area. I highly recommend this rental home to anyone looking to visit the area.

Perfect for Ironman weekend

5 of 5
Just spent a week at this cottage in Wilimington and loved it! Clean, spacious and perfect for both a small family or a large group (we ranged from 4 to 12 people over the weekend). Great access to Plattsburgh, Lake Placid, Ausable Forks, Whiteface Mt and for Ironman spectators- you're just a quick 5 minute drive to the Ironman bike course in Wilmington and 10 min. to the Ausable Forks out-and-back portion of the bike. I really appreciate all the small touches at the cottage- tons of clean towels, sheets and blankets, books and dvd's for all ages, kitchen and bathroom essentials are well stocked and the private setting of the cottage made this ideal for our stay. Thanks so much, we'll be back again soon.
