PERFECT HOUSE FOR OUR GROUP GETAWAY!!!

5 of 5
Whiteface Mountain Chalet was the perfect house for our group getaway! A group of 7 couples went to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday! It was perfect. We had plenty of room, everything was gorgeous and extremely clean. The view of the mountain was breathtaking. Todd and Kim have thought of everything in the house. The extra step they took to call the first evening to welcome us and check everything was okay was such a nice touch. It is everything you could want in a house and more! The beds were extremely comfortable. We loved it so much, we are going to make it an annual couples trip!! Thank you Todd and Kim for sharing your home with us! You were a pleasure to work with and we look forward to booking again next year! Thank you for helping make my husband's birthday a very memorable one!

Clean spacious cottage

5 of 5
Great place! VERY clean and spacious. Great location for any adventure in the High Peaks area. Shower was nice and hot . Washer and Dryer was a bonus to have. The fireplace was nice and cozy as well. The ownser got back to me immediately after my inquiry and are very corteous. It was a pleasure to stay there.

Gorgeous, serene and comfortable!

5 of 5
The listing description was perfect for the house and amenities that are included but there is no way to be able to prepare yourself for the time you will have if you stay in this house. The property is well-maintained and clean, the owners are very eco-friendly as well which is a plus. Even though they own 18 acres of land, none of it has been cut down and hunting isn't even allowed. This house was perfect for my boyfriend and I to stay for a weekend. We went with the wish of wanting a weekend just to ourselves with no disturbances and that is what we got! You won't have to worry about any sort of problems with the house or forgetting something because the homeowners take care of practically everything for you. It was so nice to be able to sit back and relax for a weekend. The views of the mountain all day, every day were beautiful. Even on the day that it rained the clouds made the scenery just as beautiful. Although the house has three bedrooms, it's easy to turn it into a place for two people. Plus, there is 3G signal there (I have Verizon), so you can use your phone if you really must but no one will tell on you if you say that you don't have signal for the weekend. There is not a single thing I would change about this house. While we stayed there we walked all the way around the "block" (7 miles) on accident but didn't even mind because the views are always breathtaking. We also went down to where the covered bridge was and swam for hours. We didn't go out to eat at all but we did travel to Lake Placid one day just to canoe for a bit and being on that lake is just as breathtaking. PLEASE RENT THIS HOUSE! I promise you won't regret it. You won't want to leave!
