This home is perfect for a large group of people.

5 of 5
We are a group of 10 women that get together every 6 months for what we call Doe Camp. This house was perfect. The bedrooms were large with a TV and fan in every bedroom. Plenty of bathrooms for 10 women. The kitchen and living room was open with a large marble counter top bar for all to hang out. The hot tub, sauna, and steam shower were the perfect places to hang out and relax. The fire pit was the best I have ever seen!!!! It had the perfect lay out!!! We found a trail along the river that was just amazing for a beautiful afternoon walk. The house was very clean when we arrived. The hot tub was the perfect temp. the whole weekend. Kim and Todd you have designed this house for relaxation and comfort in mind for sure. The furnishings are of top quality. The only thing we were really missing was cell service for ATT. I want to thank you for the call the first evening we were there to make sure everything was fine and sharing this home with us and I WILL RETURN for sure.

Great place to stay

This was our 3rd stay at the Bear Hollow Cottage and as always we were very satisfied. The house has everything you need, is clean and comfortable. Very good location as well. I'd recommend to enyone looking for a rental in Adirondacks. Thank you Cheryle for being so accomodating :) We will defenietely be back! Dorothy

Gorgeous, serene and comfortable!

The listing description was perfect for the house and amenities that are included but there is no way to be able to prepare yourself for the time you will have if you stay in this house. The property is well-maintained and clean, the owners are very eco-friendly as well which is a plus. Even though they own 18 acres of land, none of it has been cut down and hunting isn't even allowed. This house was perfect for my boyfriend and I to stay for a weekend. We went with the wish of wanting a weekend just to ourselves with no disturbances and that is what we got! You won't have to worry about any sort of problems with the house or forgetting something because the homeowners take care of practically everything for you. It was so nice to be able to sit back and relax for a weekend. The views of the mountain all day, every day were beautiful. Even on the day that it rained the clouds made the scenery just as beautiful. Although the house has three bedrooms, it's easy to turn it into a place for two people. Plus, there is 3G signal there (I have Verizon), so you can use your phone if you really must but no one will tell on you if you say that you don't have signal for the weekend. There is not a single thing I would change about this house. While we stayed there we walked all the way around the "block" (7 miles) on accident but didn't even mind because the views are always breathtaking. We also went down to where the covered bridge was and swam for hours. We didn't go out to eat at all but we did travel to Lake Placid one day just to canoe for a bit and being on that lake is just as breathtaking. PLEASE RENT THIS HOUSE! I promise you won't regret it. You won't want to leave!
