The property was perfect for our multi-generational family mini-reunion of seven, including two granddaughters ages 5 and 7. The house was clean and spacious, including a generous dining table that accommodated a birthday dinner of 12, a comfortable living room with lots of seating and a piano, a snug tv room, and a small exercise room with lots of available toys. The backyard had a wonderful play gym and a nice outdoor table with six chairs. Bathrooms had lots of towels and plenty of hot water and the bedrooms had comfortable beds. The décor was somewhat late Victorian, with some interesting late pre-Raphaelite painting reproductions. Although located on the town's main street, the rooms were quiet; several ice cream parlors, nice playgrounds, restaurants, and the Glen and the lake were within convenient walking distance. Everything was as advertised. If there was a drawback, it is that the house was somewhat dark and the lighting could have had brighter possibilities.
