Great for a ladies weekend away

5 of 5
This property completely met our needs, for a ladies wine tasting weekend get away. The house is compact, and sleeps a lot of people for its overall size but we never felt cramped. Overall it was clean and appointed with everything we could need (especially in the kitchen), and communication with Laura was always quick and easy. We would definitely stay here again!

Heaven on Earth

5 of 5
We have been coming to the Farmhouse for a few years now – first as a couple and then with a family. It is an Amazing place that really takes you away from it all, the noise and congestions of a city and allows you to relax, to reflect, to read, to write, to paint, to sculpt... We look forward to coming here all year long and mixing our summer days with delicious Finger Lake wines and splashing in the pond. And we always come back relaxed, restored, rejuvenated. Living in a busy world, it’s hard to believe that places like this still exist and I am very grateful to the Owner for sharing it with us and am writing in hope that others will discover and enjoy it too. Wake up early in the morning and run to the pond, where water is like steamed milk. The spider webs sparkling in the wild flowers, like a fine lace. In the house, these is an interesting library. Cozy up on a comfy couch or on a veranda, daydreaming and looking out on the rolling hills. Look outside through the big dining room window, hanging like a nature painting, and you will see a rabbit. Venture to a forest grown over farm fields and you will find an old pick-up truck or a rusty combine, now resting peacefully, try to guess their age. Here you will see more deer than people. And at dusk, the fields are aglow with fireflies. It’s magical and can you almost expect to see a Unicorn. The Farmhouse is truly a Home away from Home. It offers modern-day comfort seamlessly complementing its original character. You feel that it’s deeply loved and cared for. It’s immaculately clean and spacious. And the Owner is Pleasure! The Guestbook in the Farmhouse is filled with happy visitors, many returning. And should you want to escape the solitude, there is always lots to do and see in the beautiful Finger Lakes region, with charming towns and friendly people, festivals and local wines and cheeses, waterfalls and nature trails.

We Highly Recommend this Beautiful Home!

5 of 5
RENT THIS ONE!! Our family could not have been happier with our stay at the Niagara River Chalet. Glen met us at the house upon our arrival and gave us a personalized tour, some background on the house and recommendations of places to go and things to do in the area. He even had multiple maps there for us to reference. The house is VERY well equipped for its visitors. There is bedding, towels, and everything you need in the kitchen. Glen even has a supply of napkins, paper towels, trash bags and cleaners there for his guests to use. This is not the case in all rental homes, so it was very generous and hospitable for him to do. The bedrooms are all spacious and well decorated. And there are large tv's all over the house. The downstairs area is great with lots of fun things to do as well. Since there was a lot of snow on the ground, we couldn't take full advantage of the decks or the waterfront property. We would love to go back in the warmer months when we can spend more time outdoors as it looks wonderful. Don't hesitate to book this home, you won't regret it!
