First Time in NYC. Perfect Place to Stay.

                      5 of 5
We picked this property for a few reasons. It was close to public transportation, a few blocks from Central Park, overnight long term parking close by, and several restaurants within walking distance. This apartment met all our expectations. We (3 adults) found the apartment to be just like described on the website. There was plenty of room for us. While the kitchen was small, it was loaded with everything we needed. We did find the ceiling low in the basement bedroom area. I am 5'3" and could touch the ceiling with my hand, but it was a large room with 2 queen beds and a dresser. It had new furniture throughout and as well as new bedding. We found the mattresses were comfortable. We brought a fan to use as a noise blocker, but we ran the dehumidifier in the bedroom during the day and night which worked well as a noise blocker as well as keeping the apartment comfortable. We found the apartment clean with fresh linens. The owner was very easy to contact and met us upon arrival. Gave us information about where to park our car ahead of time, which was in a parking garage one street over. This made it easy to get our luggage to and from the apartment. We enjoyed walking to the local restaurants and strolling through the park. We found the metro was within 2 blocks from the apartment which made getting around the city very easy. We will definitely recommend this apartment to family and friends. We'll rent again next time we are in NYC.

                      Super Roof Deck!

                      5 of 5
Our family of 3 adults and 2 children under 12 stayed for 8 nights and really liked this apartment! It is very well located - great for walking to the museums, Central Park, the subway and many many restaurants and shops. The owner gave very quick responses to our many questions. The most wonderful part of the apartment was the private roof deck which was perfect for viewing sunsets and enjoying our meals. This place is worth the climb! Thank for sharing your lovely property with us.

A spectacular home base for enjoying the UWS!

                      5 of 5
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 9-day stay in this gorgeous townhouse. We love New York and had wanted to experiment with “living there” beyond our usual weekend-long hotel stays. We quickly identified the house as the most spectacular option on the upper west side, and our stay included having my best friend and her husband stay with us the first weekend, preparing a dinner party for six later in the week, and enjoying time for just the two of us. The house was meticulously clean, smelled great, and was well-stocked when we arrived, which we appreciated very much. We currently live in a contemporary, loft-like condominium in downtown Cincinnati, so spending time in a turn-of-the-century New York townhome with gorgeous floors, woodwork, and period bathrooms, was a welcome contrast and treat. The only potential negative for some might be the verticality of the house – it is four stories, with no powder room on the main level. I welcomed the opportunity to get my steps in all throughout the day, but my husband who’s recently been through spinal surgeries didn’t find that so easy. I recommend the house to adult groups of friends or couples, and probably families with a little older children, just because it’s such a vertical home. We thoroughly enjoyed our time as temporary UWS residents, grocery shopping, going to many nearby restaurants and identifying our favorite morning coffee shop, taking long walks in the neighborhood and Central Park, and attending performances from Elvis Costello at Carnegie Hall to The Realistic Joneses play on Broadway, to Birdland, to Bemelman’s Bar at the Carlyle for cocktail hour. I also appreciated that Pure Yoga is about a block away, and purchased a week’s pass with which I sampled four different classes. The homeowner provided a very thorough guidebook with useful information and recommendations for shopping, restaurants, entertainment, and emergencies – everything we might need. She could not have been more accommodating.
