Great place to stay with kids!

            5 of 5
My husband and I and our 3 children (6, 4, and 1) stayed at this beautiful property for about a month this summer while my daughters attended summer camp nearby. We've had a fantastic experience living here and cannot wait to return next year! First of all, this apartment is humongous (3 king size bedrooms and very large living room and a dedicated dining area). Our primary home in colorado is more than 5,000 sf so i was very skeptical whether a NYC condo apartment could meet our needs. My husband and I visited at least a dozen NYC apartments with our broker before we found Jennifer's unit. It was a no brainer - we put down a deposit the same day we toured the unit. The unit was meticulously clean and the furniture are very good quality. The in-apartment washer/dryer worked out very well for us. Wifi was super fast and dependable which allowed my husband to work from "home" effortlessly. The wall-mounted ac units were quiet and ice cold, worth mentioning is that each of the bedroom had it's own ac and thermostat control so i was able to keep the baby's room at a pleasant temperature at night. The owner was super accommodating... all of our requests were met promptly (such as more pots and pans for cooking and baby sitting service referral). The owner even went out of her way to let us store our excess luggage for a week when we went to vermont before heading back home. Thank you!

Beautiful and functional apartment! LOVED IT!

My family stayed here for a week in July. The apartment is beautifully decorated and the neighborhood itself great. We enjoyed walking to central park and visiting all of the museums nearby. So much smarter to rent this large family apartment when the Marriott charges $400 for a single room. Management/owner was extremely responsive. Upon arriving, I noticed that the shampoo and body wash was running low. I texted the manager and she happened to be in the building, within 10 minutes, she stopped by to bring me new shampoo and soap....and gave us a lot of good recommendations for NYC. FYI - there is a 24 hour Rite Aide 1 block away for snacks and drinks. So convenient. Loved every minute of it, looking forward to coming back!

Nice to Reside on the Upper East Side

            4 of 5
We stayed in this two bedroom for nearly a week and found it to be wonderful for our family of three - two adults and one child - though it obviously could fit another person comfortably. The location is fine for East Side, though we were surprised to see an extensive construction project right next door (which is also visible on Google's street view). The good news is there was no exceptional noise from the construction so no need to worry about that! There are numerous convenient shops, cafes and restaurants, and the subway is close by. We felt very safe during our entire stay including travel to and from downtown at night. Access to central park is also easy. The apartment was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The air conditioning was useful during our stay and worked well. The building manager and the booking agent were helpful and easy to work with. The building itself has been remodeled recently - this means it is both clean and still has a "punch list" of minor details that need attending to - a couple cupboard handles not installed, some tools and supplies in the stairwell - but nothing to bother a stay. The kitchen is adequately but modestly furnished - more like an efficiency apartment than the full apartment some visitors may be accustomed to. But this is NYC, so who cooks in anyway? We gave feedback to the owner about adding things like hooks for towels. The only other issue that might affect a light sleeper is that the curtains are sheer shades, not really black out curtains. If you wake up with the light as we do, no problem. They do provide privacy... we think! We would gladly return to this location and dwelling - and expect you will enjoy it too.
