Great Experience!

5 of 5
We visited NYC during Christmas of 2014. This apartment was perfect for our stay. It is centrally located and very clean and cozy. The owners are very friendly and accomodating. I would recommend this place to anyone that will be visiting the big apple. Thanks so much, Eva and Rosa!

Our home away from home

5 of 5
Our stay at this apartment was fabulous. I've been in NYC many times, experienced several hotels, and my favorite to stay is usually the Waldorf Astoria for the location, the quality of service, and the history. Yet, the stay at this apt brought the experience of NYC to another level. A place where you can feel and enjoy all the energy of NYC, yet have calm and relaxation. I stayed for five days with my family, my husband and daughter of 10 years old. It was very nice to feel at home in NYC, be able to enjoy all the restaurants having had already at home the fruits and vegetables we wanted, and keep a balanced and healthy diet. We enjoyed central park as never before as it was minutes away. We would pop-in in and out of the beautiful museums along the museums mile while the our daughter would have fun playing in central park in our way from one place to another. We could very easily go home from time to time for a good rest, eat, and then re-energized back in the crowd. Just walking around was pleasant. I would have never thought I could feel rested in NYC, while I felt so despite the endless activities the city offers. Being in an apartment gave a completely different flavor to the time spent there.

Staying in NY for the Marathon

4 of 5
I ran the New York Marathon and wanted to stay in close proximity to Central Park for easy access to the apartment after the run. It was a little further then I had anticipated because the run finishes at the south end of the park but we were close enough to the subway for quick access to transportation. When we arrived, we called Michael to let him know we were at LaGuardia and would be there as soon as possible. When we arrived the doorman greeted us and knew that we were to meet Mike upstairs. He handed us the key to the apartment and we went upstairs. Mike met us there a couple minutes later. The apartment was nicely lit and he told us what we needed to know and left. We appreciated that he told us if we needed anything he was only floors up away from us and to feel free to contact him if we needed anything. The Master Bedroom is very spacious and although the main bathroom is attached to the Master Bedroom, it was extremely handy to have the half bath. It was only myself, my husband and his sister, but having the extra bathroom made all the difference in the world. As it worked out, we didn't need to ask Mike anything and were able to navigate ourselves around the city without issue. The one thing that was odd is when we would tell the cab drivers our location they were extremely puzzled as to our location...after the marathon when I could barely walk, we got in a cab, told the driver our exact location and he proceeded to tell us it was an impossible address....then when we told him the side street address he knew where to drop us off....at any rate, we didn't want to get in an argument with him as it was nearly impossible to find a cab after the marathon. The apartment is as noted and we really enjoyed it. I would say just as a means of constructive criticism is that it would be nice to have some basic amenities like salt, pepper, sugar and even coffee in the apartment. There are local markets nearby but we arrived late so it would be nice to have had those things as we didn't want to have to buy salt, pepper and sugar when you can hardly buy those in small quantities. The other thing that was missing was face cloths, there were plenty of towels but no face cloths...otherwise, the place was as we expected....Thank you Michael and Jennifer.....Vernon, BC Canada
