Beautiful. Comfortable. Worth the Price!

What a find! My husband, two boys (12 and 9) and I stayed in this apartment for just two nights during the busy August season. The apartment was immaculately cleaned and is much prettier and larger than the photos depict. It's also equipped with central air conditioning. The owners were very helpful, even answering questions during our stay (while they were in Spain), and we found reasonable parking just around the corner. The neighborhood is quiet at night and felt very safe, and was within walking distance of the 9/11 Memorial, grocery shopping (Food Emporium around the corner and Whole Foods a 5 minute walk away), Bleeker St. and almost everything else we wanted to see. Two warnings: First - it's a 4th storey walk-up - plan for lighter luggage distribution! Second - you'll need to plan your arrival and departure times precisely. There's no lock-box and no way to lock the apartment door without a key upon leaving. This means that you'll need to meet the owners or their representative at the apartment to first enter, and then to drop the keys off when you leave. I'm sure this won't be an issue for most families, but for us... we're pretty loose with our scheduling when we're on vacation. In summary - we would highly recommend this property. It's pricey, but considering everything we got, very fairly priced.
