          great trip

          5 of 5
We had a wonderful getaway before school starts. My 2 sons and husband loved fisihing in the lake with the boat. They were up at the crack of dawn, and then again out till dark. John was great to work with! Very helpul with things to do in the area. We loved the salmon falls, and the hatchery.Tim the house care person was very helpful as well. Everyone returned calls and emails very promptly. House was very clean, and even our dog had a great time. We loved the fire pit and roasting marshmallows at night. Loved that the porch was all gated so our dog couldn't just run out. We even took a day trip and did an Uncles Sams 2 hour cruise of the 1000 islands with the dog. We really want to say thank you for sharing your home with us! We would highly recommend this home! Hope we can return again soon! Debbie, the boys and poppy too!

          Perfect for a Multi-Generation Gathering

          5 of 5
We just spent a week at the Lodges at Oak Point for a family reunion. There were 26 of us - ages 3-87 - and everyone loved the location. We rented all 5 lodges. Although we did outings to Boldt Castle, Alexandria Bay, two wineries, and a golf course, everyone really seemed to enjoy just hanging around Oak Point. Many got up early to walk or jog. The river was perfect for swimming and we rented boats to fish, tube, and just cruise around exploring. The cottages were spacious and allowed us to congregate inside for games and conversation - and the porches and porch swings were a favorite place to hang out. We gathered at the picnic tables on the lawn in the evening for dinner and several nights made s 'mores in the fire pit by the river. We've been holding these reunions every other year since the early 70's and we really appreciated the well-stocked and organized lodges and the kindness of one of the owners, Lisa, who was always responsive and patiently answered a lot of questions. Thanks for a FANTASTIC week! I would highly recommend the Lodges at Oak Point!
