          September weekend

          4 of 5
Excellent floor plan with lots of quirky details. Kitchen better equipped than listed so check first with Thom. Log burning stove redeemed a wet September Saturday! Trading Post a hidden gem for lunch and breakfast, Beer Diviner was popular and used bookstore worth a browse.

          Great stay

          5 of 5
Very comfortable house, we used the grill and kitchen to cook a lot and sat outside on the deck, walked through the woods, and enjoyed the peaceful area. Living room was a good size for the five of us to relax and play card games, etc. The house is in close driving distance to several state parks with hikes that are good both for stronger and weaker hikers. The property owner was friendly and checked in with us to make sure all was well. He was discreet but let us know that we could contact him with any concerns. If you stay here, check out the wonderful used book store just down the road!

          Clean, comfortable house

          5 of 5
Four of us had a great time. Alex was easy to reach. He is a collector. The house is in a quiet area. We had a small bear sighting, as well as many other country creatures. We hiked a bit on Mt.Graymore. We went to see The Mound (Edith Wharton), the Taconic Sculpture Park, other wonderful sights and parks in the area. I would definitely recommend the house to my friends and family. Veronika (Boston)
