FANTASTIC ACCOMMODATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!

4 of 5
My husband and I spent a fabulous week in this spacious, very clean and quiet apartment. The owners had left us the essentials for breakfast our first day and we were grateful for the coffee, baguette, orange juice and milk they had waiting. The (free) ferry is just a 10 minute walk from the house and it runs every 1/2 hour for 24 hours/day. We enjoyed passing in front of the Statue of Liberty at different times of the day - especially at sunset. One thing we learned during our stay, is that there is a bus (#42 or #52) that picks you up at the ferry station and drops you very close to the apartment when you get back from the city. You can use your NYC Metro Card on these buses. This was especially nice after walking around the city all day, if you're too tired to tackle the (uphill) walk home at the end of the day. We would both like to return as soon as possible and highly recommend it to travelers who want to be close to Manhattan but without all the hustle, bustle, noise and expense. Guy & Alexis

Great, clean place with a lot of space

4 of 5
Thank you very much for the appartment. We (2 adults, 3 kids) had a great time in Staten Island. The daily ride to Manhattan on the ferry was awesome and worthwhile. The walk to the terminal takes only 15-20 minutes. The appartment is quite big and we five had a lot of space. The price is very fair and a really good deal. The neighbourhood is o.k., but more like a suburb rather than a big city. No restaurants, no bars, no starbucks ..... But that's o.k.. After all I can highly recommend Craig's and Helen's appartment, it's a very good place to stay over night and visit NYC. We'll come back, that's for sure!

Unforgettable vacation in New York

4 of 5
Nice place, located just near the coast of Staten Island , beside bus stop which is very convenient if you have no car. The house was clean and furnished ideally for 4-6 people, we were 8 people which made us feel a bit cramped, but otherwise we have no complaints. Our kids (all teenagers) loved the massive television !! Thanks for an unforgettable vacation in New York. We will return here again for our next vacation to NY, Thanks once again.
