Best View of the City from here

5 of 5
Beautiful view of the city from the front porch and super convenient short walk to the Staten Island ferry for a free ride to Manhattan. The walk is well lite and completely safe. I have stayed at this gorgeous apartment several times, sometimes with family and sometimes by myself for work. I have returned late at night from a Broadway show and feel very safe walking back (and you even pass by the police station). During inclement weather, bus stop is right on the corner and can take you to and from the ferry. Robin keeps the apartment stocked with all kitchen and bathroom supplies needed. A grocery store either a nice walk or first stop on the Staten Island Railway. Get your unlimited ride Metro card and have the time of your life in the Big Apple!

Clean and comfortable

5 of 5
My husband and I spent a wonderful week here. I am always concerned when traveling about cleanliness and this place rated an A plus. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was spotless. It was easy to walk to and from the bus stop that takes you directly to the ferry only a block away. Saved at least 2/3rds of the cost of a comparable place in Manhattan leaving more money to spend on fun and yummy things! Good value.

Great launching pad

4 of 5
This was an ideal launching spot for our first trip to NYC. This home was a much better price than staying in the city. Home was very quiet and comfortable which was a nice change from the loud bustling city. Three block (10 minute) walk to free Staten Island ferry (25 minute ride). We had a beautiful waterfront view of the city. We didn't mind the commute each day into the city and appreciated free parking on the street in front of the house the whole time we were there - another savings. Ferry docks at South Ferry Terminal which makes it very easy to get around the city via the subway. Buy a pass at the terminal and you are good to go. Salem Church nearby is awesome too if you are looking for a place to worship on the island. Owner VERY helpful and quickly responded to all our questions.
