My friends and I enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at the cottage on the lake. We loved the well-stocked, spacious kitchen and the beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Judith and Yehudit were incredibly thoughtful and helpful during and even after our stay. After I forgot my memory foam pillow there, they brought back to the city for me and worked to ensure that it was easy for me to retrieve. The cottage had everything we needed, including even good books, bikes, and a humongous pot for our lobster boil. We enjoyed cooked, exploring nearby beaches, and visiting the many vineyards that were within minutes by bike. I highly recommend this rental and I look forward to staying there again soon!

From the moment we turned onto Rogers Road and saw the bay ahead, the scene was set, everything was perfect. Once we arrived, the indoor environment was harmonious, uncluttered, and clean, and complete with every amenity. Outside, the inlet, lawn, trees, waterfowl and birds naturally provided auditory and visual appeal. Exploring the rest of Southold and the North Fork (LI Sound, Orient Point, farm stands and vineyards) was also a pleasure and a treat. It was a blissful stay... for the second time... and we'll be back for a third as soon as possible.

I took my parents and young son to the beach for a few days and we had a lovely time. The cottage has everything you need including an outdoor shower, great gas grill, and a comfortable and attractive living area. It gets nice bay breezes through the new windows which all have working screens. By beach cottage standards these were very comfortable beds with comfortable linens. I read some older reviews which expressed concerns about the gas stove not having low burner capacity - we didn't find that to be the case on our visit. Another review mentioned they don't have a bath which sometimes can be challenging with young children but my four year old loved taking rinse offs under the trees in the outdoor shower, which was very private, had hot water, a bench, hooks, and plenty of room to rinse and dress. The house has central air, although it was so breezy we never needed to turn it on. Although the cottage is great, the very best thing is the short stroll to the bay beach. This is a perfect kid beach - has a few swings, a slide, shaded picnic tables, no surf, and lots of nice sand. We had a great visit and hope to go back one day soon.
