Very cute and cozy home, close to everything

4 of 5
We really enjoyed our stay. Upon arrival the place was exceptionally clean and the beds were all comfortable with nice linens and bedding. We were only a group of four but the house could easily accommodate 7 or 8. And for renting in the middle of a very cold winter, I was surprised how nice and warm the house was. The only downside to the stay was that the kitchen is tiny, very tiny, and made cooking a challenge but it was nicely equipped with new higher-end appliances, with plenty of pots and pans. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. The option for using Netflix on the tv worked great, but we did miss being able to watch cable TV beyond the handful of channels we found. We would definitely rent again!

Absolutely stunning

5 of 5
Large home that suited our family gathering of 10 perfectly. The downstairs game area is fun for the kids while the adults hung around the fire upstairs. Would go back in a heartbeat and highly recommend to anyone looking for a clean and gorgeous home to rent.

A Month Was Not Long Enough!

5 of 5
Not only are the sunsets spectacular, but the night sky filled with brilliant stars and the moon beam floating across the water all make the deck the only place to be on warm summer nights! The cottage is small but cozy and inviting, and with the deck can accommodate large family gatherings comfortably. Both the cottage and the grounds are well-maintained. The owner and property manager are warm and welcoming and willing to do whatever needs to be done to make your stay a memorable one. The kitchen is stocked with all the conveniences of home, meeting the needs of either casual cook or gourmet chef. A washer and dryer assure a supply of clean, dry towels for swimmers and boaters alike. Set back away from traffic, the location is ideal – quiet and serene, yet a short drive into the village. Skaneateles boasts a wide range of unique shops and a variety of restaurants like the Sherwood Inn, Blue Water Grille, and The Krebs. There are also several wineries that welcome visitors to sample some of the finest domestic wines New York State has to offer. After a busy day, returning to the comfort of the cottage and the calming effect of the water was a little slice of heaven. A month-long stay was truly not enough!
