Our group of friends (4 couples - Ages 48 - 60) stayed for a 2-night weekend. We have been doing a yearly trip to the Finger Lakes for the past few years. This was our first time a Seneca Lake (we usually go to Keuka). The property was clean well-maintained with a homey feel. The bedrooms were all nice sized with lots of space to just hang out. The view of the lake was beautiful - home boasts 2 large picture windows. We were all able to gather around the dining room table for breakfast in the morning as well as a friendly game of Trivial Pursuit in the evening.
We spent a day visiting the nearby wineries, drove to Geneva for dinner and enjoyed a morning hiking the Gorge at Watkins State Park. When we were back at the property we spent lots of time sitting out on the front porch on the comfy rocking chairs.
Our only suggestion is that the stone walk way may need a little attention since it was uneven in spots. You had to be careful after dark to not lose your footing. The home itself had a nice rustic charm and the grounds has a lot of potential with a little TLC - such has sprucing up the landscaping or adding a firepit and patio area.
Would definitely consider staying here again.
