Beautiful Farm Property Lovingly Maintained

5 of 5
When we arrived at the property it was Thanksgiving evening and it had just snowed. The farmhouse was picture perfect! Inside, we were immediately comfortable and surrounded by beautiful objects of vintage type, perfect to make us feel we had stepped back in time. A large fireplace kept us warm and relaxed. It was quiet and peaceful except for the lovely sound of a brook outside. Also, the property is wonderfully located between Saugerties and Woodstock.two great towns for dinning and shopping in antique stores and The Inquiring Mind, one of the best book stores in the area. I can imagine how beautiful this place is in the summer. Also, the host was excellent and very available to make our stay great. A wonderful place !!

Excellent!

The photos don't do this amazing home justice. We really felt like we walked into an Architectural Digest photo shoot for an upscale hunting lodge (yes, there is taxidermy). We were 2 families, 9 of us all together and there was tons of room inside and outside to roam. Beautifully maintained yard, completely sparkling interiors and the fun village of Woodstock nearby. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay

We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary here and as soon as we walked in the cottage we knew that this was going to be the perfect place for us to celebrate our very special day. There were balloons and a basket of goodies waiting for us; so thoughtful. The cottage is beautiful, comfortable and well appointed. It was very cleaned and nicely decorated. The kitchen has everything you need and more to cook the perfect meal, spacious open floor plan, gorgeous bathroom and cozy bedroom with comfy bed and lots of pillows to choose from. But the most beautiful thing is that as soon as you walked in the door the beautiful view of the woods and creek is right in front of you thanks to the wall sliding doors. Steps below is the creek and a clearly marked path to the waterfalls; just gorgeous. We certainly loved this place and so did our dog Max. They provided bowls, treats and a bed for him to lounge around on. This place will forever hold a special place in our hearts and we will definitely be back.
