AMAZING!We had a great time!Food,people are great!

This is a special property. magical! Myself, niece, nephew and some friends stayed there for a long weekend in August. We went to the Track, Saratoga for dinner, SPAC and spent the rest of the time relaxing on the farm . It was the perfect blend of activity and relaxation, All the people that work there are great, they go out of their way to make sure you have a great time Especially Kenni! WE loved watching and hearing the animals, chickens, cows , baby pigs ! and the Dogs are fun and friendly. We ate breakfast at the restaurant every morning -food was fresh and healthy. The house itself was beautifully done, clean .and decorated . It was charming ! there was plenty of room for us all and to accommodate all our different schedules and activities. From Peaceful in the morning relaxing to a cup a coffee on the deck to buying food from the restaurant and having a cookout , each moment was thoroughly enjoyable. We created memories that will last us a lifetime! The story of the farm and the way they care for all their animals shows their dedication: from making special food to making sure there is enough land to graze on this truly is a great place to stay and we all can't wait to go back next year!! Check it out you won;t be sorry!

Wonderfully perfect!

My husband and I rented this beautiful farmhouse to stay at during our sons graduation from Rensselaer. It was our first time to rent a home to stay at instead of hotels and the whole experience was wonderfully perfect. The home is as described. Comfortable with big bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen/dining areas. There are also two living areas with flat screen televisions for viewing and hanging out. The beds are very comfortable as are the couches. And the dining room table is perfect for gathering and playing games. The decor is so relaxing and and so much more than any hotel could offer. My husband and I chose this home because after the vacation we invited some family from Pennsylvania to come up for a family picnic to celebrate our sons graduation. This farmhouse was perfect. There is a lovely outside patio with a grill and a fire pit, though we did not use the fire pit. The grill however was ideal. The land around the farmhouse was great for our nephew to kick to soccer ball around. And the location was perfect for the runners in the group who really enjoyed the trails a mile up the road toward Saratoga Springs. It was a little cool when we were there but there is also access to the lake a mile in the other direction. We did go into town and really enjoyed sitting on the porch at Maestro's for wine and appetizers. We didn't spend a lot of time in town for we were down in Troy at RPI, which is a short drive from the farmhouse. It takes under 30 minutes and I so wish we had known about this proximity four years ago when our son started at RPI! Overall this is a wonderful home. The owner is so kind and left a basket with items for our use of things we may have forgotten, which my husband had forgotten his toothbrush and it was so nice not to have to run out right away. The owner also gave us some recommendations for restaurants, that's how we found Maestro's (Thanks!). He answered any questions and made our trip planning so incredibly simple. The home is extremely clean and really a fun home to live in while we were there with outdoor patio, roof top deck, fully stocked kitchen and large rooms. Also to note, high speed internet and cable television! I would recommend this home to anyone and would love to come back and rent it again and do more hiking in the area. The only additional thing I can say is Thank You to the owner for sharing this home with us!
