Beautiful & tranquil - perfect getaway

5 of 5
We are a family of 6 that visited over a long weekend. The house was peaceful, secluded, tranquil and everything we were looking for in an escape. It was spotless, beautifully decorated and contained all the amenities you could ask for. We were surrounded by nature and greeted with views from every room. The house is an easy walk to the town but we opted to drive since we were with an elderly relative. The town of Woodstock is a charming little town with boutiques, gift shops and art galleries. There is even a little outdoor flea market on the weekends. We drove to nearby areas for apple picking and also visited Rhinebeck and Kingston. The owner was also very nice and accommodating. She provided some wonderful restaurant recommendations (Trust her!) and was easy to deal with. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Superb, beautifully maintained, and great location

5 of 5
We rented this house for the week my daughter got married. It was so great, everyone was thrilled. We were a big group, but there are so many different places to hang out that we never felt on top of each other. The owner is charming, and always available for questions nd help.

Grandma's First Vacation

5 of 5
My family and I recently stayed at the farm. The 5 of us had ample room to move around and the sleeping arrangements were perfect. My mother-in-law had never been out of Texas. The relaxing nature of this place literally made it difficult for her to leave. She wants to come here every year. My husband, daughter and I sat outside and star-gazed for hours. John was a great host. I unfortunately fell ill and had to visit the ER. John rearranged the cleaning schedule to allow me extra time to rest. He even printed out our boarding passes when we were leaving. I would like to emphasize how much room there is inside the farm house. There is a full-size washer/dryer, two nice sized bathrooms, ample closet space. There wasn't anything I needed that wasn't in this farmhouse. It is home away from home without the traffic, noise, and frantic pace of city life. Give it a try, you will enjoy. We did!!!
