The house is PERFECT -- super clean, EVERYTHING you could need right at your fingertips. The pictures are accurate but can't begin to convey the spaciousness and sense of peace in the house. We brought a lot of our own food, however we were very glad to have the farm's store right there for extra milk, fresh eggs, and steaks, pork chops, meatballs -- or even a meal in the cafe.
The back porch was a wonderful place to hang out, watching the cows, the chickens, and some other type of chickens wander by. One little cow even escaped the paddock -- we wondered if we should tell someone but then all the cows decided to trot to the other side of the field and this little gal promptly made her way back through the fence to catch up. We joked that they are quite literally "free range". A couple members of our party were a little nervous about farm animals, but they had no worries -- the dogs, chickens, and cows looked at us curiously but didn't approach us.
The manager was amazing -- answered all of our questions, laughed at our corny jokes, made us feel as if she had all the time in the world for us. She created the perfect sense of 'available at an instant's notice for anything' -- yet wasn't intrusive in the slightest. We all agreed that it exceeded our expectations, and the only regret was that we couldn't stay longer.
