Super apartment, excellent communication

5 of 5
I very rarely write reviews, but have made an exception for this apartment. This is a large apartment, which was well stocked with everything you would need for a stay in New York. The apartment is modern, and exactly like the photos on the website. It is also extremely quiet, even though there is building work going on nearby. It is a couple of minutes walk to the subway and from there, you are in the centre of Manhattan in 10-15 minutes. There are several supermarkets in the area and we tried the nearby ‘Barking Dog’ café for breakfast which was excellent. What really set this apartment above the others that we looked at renting, was the owner/manager, Jennifer and her prompt and extremely helpful responses to my queries, quite unlike my experience with other prospective rental properties. I would definitely recommend renting one of Jennifer’s properties and next time we visit New York, we would rent from her again. We received our damage deposit back promptly too.

It's All About Location

5 of 5
My two girlfriends and I spent a fabulous four nights in New York using apartment Rockefeller 25 as our home base. We kept saying we were so glad to have found this gem of an apartment. The most outstanding feature is the placement of the wall of windows in the bedroom and living room with the view of the NY skyline with the Empire State Building in the middle. The photos in the HomeAway web page don't do it justice. From the beginning of the rental procedure, we were kept informed by Nate, who always answered our emails right away. Then Maria was texting and waiting to let us in to the apartment after our plane landed. It was a very smooth arrangement. The apartment is located right by Rockefeller Center with restaurants, a pharmacy, and 5th and 6th Avenue a half block away. We walked everywhere, to Grand Central Station, a Broadway show, Top of the Rock, shopping, and restaurants. We even watched the Today show from the 2nd floor lounge. There's also a subway stop a half block away, but we also used UberX, which had their drivers there in minutes. The apartment itself is roomy and very modern and clean. We especially loved the large bathroom with three women and make-up to put on. The large king sized bed and the sofa bed let us all have a comfortable place to sleep. You can't go wrong with this apartment! It's so much better than hotel. We would rent it again without hesitation.
