The cabin was well kept and organized when we arrived. There were plenty of amenities like paper plates, an electric skillet, coffee maker, toilet paper, garbage bags, etc. Although there is no running water or plumbing the "outhouse" was still very nice and clean. There was more than enough room for my friends and I (four girls altogether) to spread out and be comfortable. The location is quite secluded and peaceful, it was enjoyable being away from a heavily traveled road. We were able to have campfires and on one day that it rained we stayed in and watched movies from the available collection which was quite good. About a twenty minute drive from the cabin are the Salmon River Falls around which there are hiking trails and a beautiful scenic view of the waterfall. Also, right down the road there is a place to swim although the beach is quite rocky. Wearing sandels in the water took care of that though. There is a bridge over a deeper part of the river we swam in that many of the locals took turns jumping off of. None of us tried it but it looked quite fun! There were also a few bars in Camden and one just past town that my friends and I visited. All in all, I would definitely stay here again. The comfort, cleanliness, and attractiveness of the cabin were even better than we imagined. It is to be noted that Stephanie was always a phone call away but that the area around the cabin was a dead zone for cell phone service.
