Lovely Place in the Catskills

4 of 5
My family(hubby and daughter) and i spent July 4th weekend at La Bella Vista. We had a great time at the house, the grounds, the kitchen, the bedrooms are exactly as depicted in the pictures. The house is very cozy and we felt right at home, there was ample towels and linens available. The only drawback was the cable, we stayed while the World Cup was being played in Brazil and could not watch ESPN which is basic cable. We improvised with our laptops but it would have been even better if we had basic cable signal. Having the wifi listed in the house is a nice to have option, we had to email to get the password. Emailing wasn't painful its just a nice to have around the house just in case their is a problem with signal via cell phone.. Overall our stay was fantastic, the home owner was on call via text and email love the quaint town, we went jogging a few times...a nice place to unwind from NYC.

"Really nice apartment. Absolutely the BEST Area"!

5 of 5
This was our first time to NYC and our first time using Home Away/VRBO. We were a bit overwhelmed trying to decide on an area to stay in. We were first going to stay in Midtown, Broadway area but decided to stay in Greenwich Village. We are so glad we stayed in the Village. As Greenwich Village was the right choice. It was safe, charming and had so much to do, with all the designer shops (great shopping), restaurants, art galleries, and the High Line Park. And very convenient to all the tourist sights and subways. When we were in midtown it was so crowded, bright and noisy. When you go there hang on to your children as it is easy to get separated from them, as by accident we briefly lost our 15 yo niece for a second and I started to panic but thank god for cell phones we were back together in no time . We were so glad to get back to the civil, quiet Village. The apartment was lovely for us girls. It had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, The Wi-Fi came in handy as well as the plethora of NYC travel brochures for planning our days. The Kitchen was great so we could just have breakfast in the apartment and get an early jump on the tourist sights. From our 1st request to our refund of our deposit all arrangements were easy and Joe was very nice and accommodating. Staying here made our trip a wonderful experience. We highly recommend this place. The girls :-)

Nice stay in Brooklyn

5 of 5
The apartment was perfect for our french family of 5 adults. The Fort Greene area is very nice (we recommend Chez Oskar, lamburger was delicious, Dekalb ave). Very close to public transportation, though NY subway is a bit difficult to figure out at the beginning). Alex was very friendly and efficient. We would go to the same place another time. Hope you excuse my english!
