Weekend getaway from Texas!

5 of 5
This property was fantastic in terms of location and served our needs perfectly! The neighborhood is great! Central Park is two blocks away and from there you can access the museums (i.e. Museum of Natural History, Guggenheim, The Met, etc.) There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance. A liquor store is located one block away as well as neighborhood store which sells your typical household necessities as well as produce. Shamai was very helpful in giving us the lay of the land in terms of the neighborhood and where the nearby subway stations were. This is a better alternative to overpriced Manhattan hotels and I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location to explore Brooklyn and NY

4 of 5
My husband and I were married in NY and try to stay in a different neighbourhood each time we go back. This time we decided to stay in Brooklyn so we could explore what it has to offer. Not only was the suite close to the subway and all the cool neighbourhoods Brooklyn has to offer, but a reasonable distance from all the sights in NY as well. John met us at the property after we landed and let us drop off our bags and freshen up well before the normal check-in time which was much appreciated. We had a mix-up with one of our bags which hadn't arrived. The only number we could give them was John's and they phoned around MIDNIGHT to say they were coming by with our bag. He waited up for the bag and dropped it off with us in the morning. Talk about going above and beyond. There is a delightful cafe right near the subway stop that makes crepes and serves up some amazing coffee to set off with on your adventure. We found our stay to be very restful and appreciated the impeccable customer service John provided.

Brooklyn's best kept secret!!!!!

5 of 5
Oh how I wished I would have known about this place sooner! This place was just absolutely perfect! You get exactly what you see and then some. I felt totally at home here. Although, I'm a Brooklyn native and was already familiar with this area, you couldn't ask for a better area to stay away from the busyness of the city, yet close enough to get there within minutes via public transportation or car. Public transportation is walking distance, just a few blocks away! Anything you need really, is just a few blocks away(grocery store, convenience store, fast foods, restaurants, hair and nail salons, beauty supply stores, bargain stores, the list goes on.....it was nearby)! The apartment was very cozy! I had a very minor mishap, but the property manager handled it very quickly. I loved the kitchen! It was well equipped with almost everything you would have at home to prepare a meal and store leftovers. The cabinets were also stocked with a few things needed to cook with that I didn't have to buy myself. I loved, loved the bathroom. I wish I could have taken it back home with me. It also was stocked with almost everything you would use in your bathroom at home. The plus, was the Jacuzzi bathtub in this already beautiful and large bathroom. OMG, it was an exceptionally awesome way to end the day!! Especially after running around in the cold, snowy weather during the day. The neighborhood was very quiet and we felt comfortable enough to just hang around and played in the snow at times, or walked the neighborhood just to reminisce on the past when I use to reside there as a child. Every time it snowed, the porch and sidewalks were cleared immediately to avoid any falls or mishaps. The apartment is equipped with wifi and cable. And I must add, not limited cable like at the hotels, but the same cable services as at home. I was even able to catch up on some shows I had dvr'd at home but hadn't watched, that my new New York landlords (I now call them this because I will definitely be back) had on dvr to watch. Another plus for them! I just can't say enough about this place, but if you choose to reside here during your visit to New York, please take care of it so I can return again! Lol!! John and Kim were great and very accessible if you needed anything, yet out of site at the same time being that they live on the property as well. I felt like I had known them forever! You cannot and will not go wrong renting this apartment for your next visit!
