Very comfortable & nice apartment in good location

5 of 5
It was a very comfortable and cute apartment in a good location in Brooklyn. Furthermore it was very clean and the owners super friendly and provided a perfect customer service. The busstop is right in front of the house, which gets you down to the DeKalb Subway station. From there, if you catch the line Q or N, you are in 10 minutes at the Times Square. There is a small supermarket on the opposite side of the house. So everything is accurate like in the description. Wifi and heating work properly. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and relatives. The only minus point is that you can hear the noises from the street quite well, but this is New York :-D

An enjoyable respite!

5 of 5
This beautiful efficiency suite was the perfect location - far enough from the hustle and bustle of the city but close to the subways and to the heart of town. Quality furnishings and conveniences such as a microwave, refrigerator and electric kettle. The owner was very helpful in providing good neighborhood information and the area was very safe. The only negative was that the room is on the basement level and, therefore, no windows. Otherwise, a great spot to be!

A wonderful base for an extended stay in New York!

5 of 5
This was my seventh trip to New York and we certainly lucked on the right place to stay this time! After a very tiring trip from Australia, Carolyn and I were so grateful to have such a lovely ‘home away from home’ – a cosy, quiet, impeccably clean and tidy ground floor apartment, a very comfy bed and lounge area, and all the amenities we could wish for – a big kitchen with modern appliances, a washer/dryer, bath and shower. The neighborhood is full of lovely old brownstones with pretty gardens out front and friendly people always ready for a chat! There are many great cafes and restaurants in the area. Our favorites were the coffee shop Georges-Andre Vintage Cafe (excellent coffee) - around the corner, and Peaches Restaurant (fabulous food) - a block away. There are also a number of corner food stores, bottle shops and supermarkets close by. A five minute walk up Stuyvesant Avenue took us to the Utica Station where we could get to Manhattan in twenty minutes and equally easily to Coney Island, the Brooklyn Zoo and JFK Airport. Our charming hosts Ben and Liz have thought of everything to make our four week stay very comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you so much….we’ll be back!
