Couldn't really ask for more of a place to stay

4 of 5
The staff are very considerate and patient - check on arrival, flexible to meet someone on arrival. There is not a 24/7 concierge but a number to call and it felt safe. It was as advertised. You can hear the quiet murmur of other guests but it was not intolerable and I was out a lot. The room was large and had everything you needed. The location is good, places to eat, can walk to other places within 30 minutes, more residential but bumped into a crew filming a hit TV show set. The free breakfast is really helpful and I went for my first yoga class during my stay. A good balance between an air bnb and a hotel so I felt more at home in a big city like NYC.

WONDERFUL

5 of 5
My wife and I were in Brooklyn for the A10 basketball tournament. Carol's place fit the bill to a Tee! Very comfortable space, conveniently equipped with light refreshments - coffee, cereal, fruit and snacks. Carol made the visit for us. We drove. We were off course arriving... called Carol and she guided us in. We wanted to move around and tour a bit. Carol gave us all we needed...great your ideas (Brooklyn Bridge Walk, Freedom Plaza, Chinatown, et al). We needed some public transportation and ideas for local restaurants. Carol equipped us with the scoop). Felt more like a B & B than a VRBO rental. Highly recommend and will likely return for the A10 next year! Thank you Carol. Dianne & Wayne Dementi.

Weekend getaway from Texas!

5 of 5
This property was fantastic in terms of location and served our needs perfectly! The neighborhood is great! Central Park is two blocks away and from there you can access the museums (i.e. Museum of Natural History, Guggenheim, The Met, etc.) There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance. A liquor store is located one block away as well as neighborhood store which sells your typical household necessities as well as produce. Shamai was very helpful in giving us the lay of the land in terms of the neighborhood and where the nearby subway stations were. This is a better alternative to overpriced Manhattan hotels and I would definitely stay here again!
