Loved IT!!

5 of 5
Cute Studio with curb appeal in Brooklyn. Just a couple of blocks from great food and lively bars. The inside was super spacious and very clean. The private entry and cozy inside made it feel like a home away from home. The owners were gracious hosts and they even provide you with a binder full of ideas for attractions and food. Perfect for a comfortable retreat for a couple or by your lonesome.

Beautiful apartment with amazing service

5 of 5
This apartment was immaculate! The design and layout were great--all the details were perfect, right down to the beautiful artwork. It was a very spacious studio and it was very clean. Everything was in perfect condition, as if it was brand new. The bed was super comfy. The greatest strength of the place though was the thoughtfulness of the owners. I have never stayed at a VRBO that has been so well equipped. The kitchen had everything you need, from dishes, to good quality pots and pans, to appliances. They also had fresh fruit, a variety of snacks, and cold drinks ready in the kitchen for weary travellers. The bathroom was equally well stocked with amenities in case you had forgotten anything, from toothpaste to cotton swabs. The owners made it very clear that they were available if you needed anything at all. They very kindly photocopied a map of the citi bike stops for me, enlarged it to a usable size, and taped it all together on sturdy paper. The neighborhood is still up-and-coming, but is pretty central. Don't miss a visit to Scratch bread. Thank you Bev and Carol for an outstanding stay! You deserve a customer service award and I hope you get the best clients ever.

Perfect Quiet Getaway

5 of 5
This was a perfect cottage for a long getaway. My husband and I wanted to celebrate our 5 year anniversary truly with other and this was perfect! No phone service, no TV, just fun conversations and exploring the mountains around us! The private yard was amazing, we sat in the hot tub surrounded by fireflies at night, and by day we all lounged on the hammock reading (our two dogs included!). The restaurants were much better than I could have imagined! We ate at Brios, Sweet Sue's, Alamo Cantina, Mama's Boy and all were fantastic. It didn't matter what we ate; it was good! Woodstock was about a 1-20 minute drive where we spent the day being tourists. We hiked the trail right behind the house and it's much steeper than it looks! But great views and totally worth it. I can't wait to visit again! We really enjoyed ourselves.
