A TRANQUIL TRAIN STATION RETREAT

5 of 5
The Highview Villa is immaculately decorated and very comfortable. A group of six of us stayed for a long weekend and we had a great time cooking, relaxing and enjoying a quiet break from the city. Maureen and Joe were gracious hosts and left us with many suggestions of what to do in the area as well as all of the fixings to make smores! It was also a special treat to see their photo album that documented the renovation process that turned a defunct train station into a spectacular home. We spent evenings admiring the detailed craftsmanship and beauty of the grand hall while enjoying the quiet, natural setting. Some venue highlights: - Enormous back yard with small trails into the woods - Bonfire pit (with s’more roasting sticks!) - Huge living room, perfect for playing Charades - A chef’s kitchen with everything you might need to prepare a feast, including a dishwasher to help clean up! We had absolutely no problems with our stay and would love to go back! Hopefully for longer next time!

GREAT PLACE TO STAY WITH FAMILY

5 of 5
Hi, Took a couple days off went to Montauk with the family. The house was great for my wife and 4 kids. It is close to the beach, we walked over after we arrived and saw a great sunset. At night went up to crowsnest with telescope and had a great view of stars. In the morning woke up and had a nice jog. The house is located in a quiet residential area. It is very close to a nice beach did a little fishing there and went for a quick dip. Don't forget to bring your bikes alot of nice places to ride out in Montauk. The house offers a place to get together with friends or family and enjoy the area. The Montauk fishing boats are located nearby if you want to try.

A WINTER WONDERLAND

5 of 5
The property was clean and fully stocked. From the bottle of champagne to the snow plowed driveway everything was fantastic. Nancy, our hostess, was lovely and answered every question we had about the area. A very special place - a wonderful wood burning fireplace kept us warm in the middle of a major snowstorm! Close to town and quick to get to from the highway. Easy trip to both downhill and cross country skiing. Give it a try during WInter Festival in 2015!
