Cozy, charming studio perfectly located

5 of 5
Zoe's Fort Greene studio was exactly as I had hoped - comfortable, cozy, and located perfectly for easy public transport access to Manhattan, other parts of Brooklyn, and JFK. The apartment is located about a 2 minute walk from Atlantic terminal, a major subway hub, which made transport easy and inexpensive. The studio is tidy and comfortable, with a wonderful bed. The kitchen has a full-sized gas stove and oven, which I used to make breakfast. It was incredibly cold during my stay, but the heating was excellent. Zoe was also very kind and flexible regarding my check-out, which was much appreciated and made for a more relaxing and productive day. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and a couple of small grocers, including organic stores with delicious prepared foods. I would be happy to stay again!

Cozy, welcoming and warm

5 of 5
Cheryl and Doug's studio was the absolute perfect home base for a long weekend getaway to do some cross country skiing at Lapland. We arrived on a snowy evening and Doug was generous enough to take time away from his other work to plow the driveway for us! The studio is VERY large and spacious! The king bed is unbelievably comfortable - I slept like a rock! - and the couch and love seat were a great place to relax and kick our feet up at the end of a great day of XC Skiing. The weather reached about -6 while we were visiting the area, but the studio was warm and toasty the entire time. The charming gas fireplace kept things cozy and added to the great ambiance. To top it all off - I forgot my phone charger in the studio the day we checked out and Cheryl was kind enough to call me and arrange to have it shipped back to me! What a thoughtful and generous gesture! We would definitely recommend someone to stay in the studio!

Wow, great place!

Just as pictured. Nicer in reality! Easy to work with the host, and very accommodating service. Both of us said, "this is the nicest, and most affordable, place we've stayed in NYC (and we have stayed in a lot)".
