Perfect lake house

5 of 5
This was one of the best mini family vacay we have ever had. This beautiful cottage was perfect for us and our 3 girls. The girls were in absolute heaven playing on the water on the Sandy beach. The house itself was great! We loved the real lake house feel and we were more than comfortable. We look forward to renting it again and coming back to Lake George! Thank you!

Outstanding

5 of 5
This property is one of a kind available for rent on Lake George in our opinion. I can say that with confidence as our family has rented in various locations on the lake for well over 10 years. This year our family of 4 was lucky enough to come upon THIS PLACE! The “cabin” is new with architectural detailing of a classic Adirondack cabin with all the modern comforts (think AC, spacious rooms, beautiful bathrooms and gorgeous kitchen) that are simply amazing. There was clearly a great deal of thought on how this house should be laid out and furnished. Every room invites you into a special experience. The pictures attached, do not really do it justice. This might sound cliché, but true. The location is optimal, perfect for swimming and taking advantage of the many water toys available for use from the homeowners. There is even a hot tub! This home is nestled in a quiet bay overlooking Elizabeth Island in the southern basin on the east side of the lake. This location is convenient to restaurants and services you might need during your stay. You won’t be wasting a lot of time running out for last minute groceries or a drug store which means more time on the lake! If that’s not enough, there is a covered boat house with a deck that allows one to enjoy the vistas of the lake and Elizabeth Island from a bird’s eye view. The dock adjacent to the boat house was perfect for our 22 ft. vintage woody (Boat) which we moored here for the week. The owners were a pleasure to deal with. They made recommendations for restaurants and were very generous with sharing this beautiful home. Our family had a wonderful stay and we will surely be asking if we can stay again in the future. We can’t wait. E&A and family

Spectacular sunset and foliage views!

5 of 5
What a magical place to enjoy foliage season! The house is immaculate, carefully appointed, and well-stocked with everything you'll need. Beds and living room / sunroom furnishings are extremely comfortable. Washer and dryer on the premises is very convenient. The westerly views provide amazing sunset viewing, which when you add the foliage covered mountains across the lake, makes for spectacular scenery. We spent the majority of our week seated by the firepit in comfortable Adirondack chairs. Lake George Village is only 20 minutes away. House is also a great launching point for day trips to golf courses (at least 4 within 8 miles), hiking trails (less than a mile), Fort Ticonderoga (1 hour), Saratoga (30 minutes), Lake Placid (less than 2 hours), and Cooperstown (2.5 hours). There also several wineries and breweries in the area that offer tours and tastings. Can't think of a better way to spend a week in Autumn, we'll be back!
