Stunning home on beautiful Lake George

5 of 5
This is a truly one-of-a-kind home that is so beautiful and comfortable. The woodwork throughout the home and the attention to detail is perfect. It is far above your average rental. We had a wonderful time in the house and would love to stay again some time. The lake is very clean and refreshing and the views are wonderful. My kids enjoyed the paddleboards very much and we all enjoyed the swimming. The hot tub and fire pit were great and we even got some fresh produce from their garden. The owner and his wife were very responsive and helpful, even when my son left his phone in the house when we left. He called the cleaning lady who located the phone and mailed it to me the next week. Much appreciated that! Fabulous property! Don't hesitate to rent. :-)

Spectacular sunset and foliage views!

5 of 5
What a magical place to enjoy foliage season! The house is immaculate, carefully appointed, and well-stocked with everything you'll need. Beds and living room / sunroom furnishings are extremely comfortable. Washer and dryer on the premises is very convenient. The westerly views provide amazing sunset viewing, which when you add the foliage covered mountains across the lake, makes for spectacular scenery. We spent the majority of our week seated by the firepit in comfortable Adirondack chairs. Lake George Village is only 20 minutes away. House is also a great launching point for day trips to golf courses (at least 4 within 8 miles), hiking trails (less than a mile), Fort Ticonderoga (1 hour), Saratoga (30 minutes), Lake Placid (less than 2 hours), and Cooperstown (2.5 hours). There also several wineries and breweries in the area that offer tours and tastings. Can't think of a better way to spend a week in Autumn, we'll be back!

Relaxing Getaway

5 of 5
This was our first attempt at vacation home rental and it worked out wonderfully. The owners were very accommodating even pruning some branches by the swings for my son. They were also understanding when twice our dog did the door dash and ran over to visit them. We loved the outdoor shower. Take the word cabin seriously; it is small. But for our young family it was just the right size. We enjoyed using the grill and eating outside while the kids played and later being able to put our kids to bed and relax outside in the dappled setting sun. (the yard is very nicely shaded). My son was thrilled to have success fishing from the dock, and we also got a nice thought slightly obstructed view of the fireworks near the Sagamore. My only negative comment is that the master bedroom is downstairs on the opposite side of the house so when one night one of my kids woke up at tried to call us we had a hard time hearing him.
