Excellent Cottage!

5 of 5
We had a great stay. The cottage was very nice, extremely clean and well kept. The hosts left many amenities (coffee, chocolate, a bottle of wine, etc). The house is fully prepared with everything you need for the kitchen, games, a fireplace and so forth. Direct access to a river with very nice views. The hosts clearly go out of their way to make sure the guests have a pleasant trip! The bedrooms were very comfortable. In the early evening it seems like there is a temperature difference between the rooms (the larger bedroom was warmer, and the bathroom in the small bedroom was cold) but it actually levels off, and it was never a problem. One small warning when you get there: the wooden bar separating the kitchen and living room is not flat everywhere! We put a bottle of wine on it and it slid off - we caught it at the last moment, but that's how we realized several parts of it are angled :) Highly recommended, excellent stay and great hosts.

Great Place, Exactly What We Were Looking For!

5 of 5
I stayed here with my brother and son on a fishing trip in May 2014, and we had a great time! The camper is just as advertised. It is small, but clean and well taken care of. It was more than enough for the three of us. The attached deck and enclosed dining area were a huge bonus. The best part of this place though is the property and location. It is right on the water, on the upper branch of the lake, and the view is amazing. You also have your own private dock, which was perfect for our fishing boat. There was also a fire pit, two grills outside, and a picnic area. We spent four days fishing, swimming, tubing, grilling, and enjoying the outdoors. There were also lots of ATV trails around the area, which we didn’t know about until we got up there, or we would have brought them too. The whole trip was awesome. If you’re looking for a five star luxury hotel, then this isn’t for you. But if you’re looking to get away and enjoy the outdoors, at a very reasonable price, then this is definitely the place for you! I know we will be calling to make our reservation for next year.

Great Experience

5 of 5
I was very happy with my stay here. The house was very spacious, clean, nicely furnished, and had everything we needed stocked. The use of the owner's kayaks and paddleboat was a huge plus. The view of the lake from the house/patio was fantastic. The owners went way beyond expectations in terms of hospitality/nice-ness/helpfulness. They went out of their way to ensure we had a fun weekend.
